On April 28, we welcomed Industrial Engineering students from UP Los Baños to our facility for a plant visit. Working alongside Uratex Philippines, we opened our doors as part of our ongoing effort to strengthen ties between industry and academia.
The students spent time with us exploring the practical side of large-scale manufacturing. We walked them through our approach to process flow design, production planning and control, quality assurance, materials management, and workplace safety. Our team shared how operational efficiency and continuous improvement guide the work we do every day.
We were glad to host these future engineers and give them a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes. These visits remind us how important it is to stay connected with the academic community and contribute to shaping the next generation of professionals.
