Surely, the great performance of a universal muffler will get the most out of your car. Getting a new muffler, or even a new car will definitely have you craving to go for a long drive. We’re obviously big fans of road trips, as it is a great way to experience new things and discover new places. Drive away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the fresh air and amazing views by going on a road trip to the following destinations in Luzon.
Tagaytay City
Its proximity to Metro Manila makes Tagaytay City a top favorite road trip destination to many. Over the years, Tagaytay City has been an attraction to both local and foreign tourists. The city offers an array of fine hotels and restaurants with the stunning view of the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. It is also recognized to be a gastronomical paradise to foodies because the city offers a wide variety of cuisines. One of the best bulalo can be found in Mahogany Market, a beef and haven in Tagaytay City. Apart from such delectable dish, the city is also a home to fresh fruits and vegetables available along the scenic road.
Baguio City
Known as the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City is a favorite road trip destinations of many especially people who are fond of the chilly weather. Burnham Park, Botanical Garden, Cam John Hay, and Tamawan Village are some of the most sought-after spots in the city. Your Baguio experience would not be complete without the taste of hot chocolate that complements the cool weather of the city. Are you fond of flowers? Visit Baguio in February to witness the Panagbenga Festival.
Sagada, Mountain Province
Nothing beats waking up in the picturesque view of golden sunrise from a mountain top. Such extraordinary experience can be achieved when you visit Sagada at Mountain Province. Despite its distance from Manila, many tourists flock to this province to experience one-of-a-kind sunrise watching. The place also offers other kinds of tourists attractions, including Sagada Pottery, Sumaguing and Lumiang Caves, Bomod-ok Falls, and Mt. Ampacao. Sagada can be reached either by Baguio City or by Banaue Ifugao. Check out this guide from Will Fly for Food.
Anilao, Batangas
Located at the southern part of Batangas, Anilao (located in the municipality of Mabini) is quite popular among scuba divers. It is known to be one of the best scuba diving spots in the Philippines, with a rich marine biodiversity and healthy underwater life due to the abundance of corals and diverse species of fish.
If scuba diving is not your thing, you can also trek the Mt. Pinagbanderahan (also known as Mt. Gulugod Baboy). After the 2-hour hike to summit, you will be rewarded with the scenic views of Balayan Bay and Batangas Bay. After trekking, you can indulge yourself at the clear water of the Anilao beaches.
Some of the mentioned road trip destinations above may take a few hours or few days, but it’s not always about the destination–it’s about the journey that. As you gear up for your next adventure, check your car to ensure it’s in its best condition to avoid sudden breakdown. Better get a road trip playlist ready as well!
