Olive oil is an essential oil known for its various benefits in health and beauty. But did you know that olive oil is also an efficient tool in cleaning leather seats? First, wash your seats with soap then rinse off. Afterwards, put a little of olive oil in a soft cloth then wipe your leather seats. Wipe it to dry.
DIY Washer Fluid
Ditch your store-bought window washer cleaner full of chemicals and go instead for a natural one. Mix rubbing alcohol, vinegar, and water in a container then transfer it to a spraying bottle. Use as normal.
Toothpaste and Toothbrush
Do your headlights get cloudy every now and then? Restore hazy headlights by using an old toothbrush and toothpaste to scrub the headlights of your car. Rinse it off using a clean rag and water. An old toothbrush can also be used to clean every inch of your seats and backrests, and to deep clean your dashboard.
Wipe your windshield wipers using a rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth to remove its sliminess. Doing this trick will lengthen the life of your windshield and will refrain you from replacing it every now and then.
Clay bar is not only made for playing, in fact, it can also be used to shine your car. Just dab a piece of clay bar into the wet car. Doing this trick can bring so much shine in your vehicle!
To remove corrosion in your car, just pour the soda on and let it sit for few minutes. Rinse it off afterwards. Soda can remove rust that makes battery charging easier.
Hair conditioner is a great alternative to wax. Make sure that the hair conditioner you will be using has lanolin in its ingredients. To wax your car, pour some of hair conditioner in a clean cloth then wipe it in your car to make it shine.
Instead of spending your money on different car fresheners, opt for essential oils, such as lavender and rosemary. Get some of your wooden clothes pins and sprinkle few drops of your desired essential oil. Then, attached the clothes pin into your vent and your car will definitely smell good!
