Dr. Brown’s DeLorean
1981 DeLorean DMC-12 from the Back To The Future series
This time travelling car is the center of the entire series. Dr. Emmett built this time machine based on an 1981 De Lorean DMC-12. He and Marty McFly used this car to travel through time to change the past and fix whatever bad effects caused by their jumps in time.
James Bond’s Aston Martin
1963 Aston Martin DB5 from several James Bond movies
The Aston Martin has become the definitive car for James Bond, and first appeared in Goldfinger (1964), the third film in the James Bond series, which starred Sean Connery. This car can be seen in seven other 007 movies, Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, Skyfall, and Spectre.
1963 Model 117 Volkswagen Beetle from The Love Bug (1968)
Who could ever forget this adorable beetle with the big personality? Herbie, who first appeared in the 1968 comedy The Love Bug produced by Disney, has starred in four sequels and a TV movie. It’s difficult to find someone who doesn’t know Herbie!
Dominic Toretto’s Charger
1970 Dodge Charger from The Fast and the Furious
You have to admit, Vin Diesel’s roading Dodge Charger engine is pretty terrifying and beautiful to hear. We got pretty sad to see this muscle car get wrecked.
The Tumbler (Batman Begins 2005, The Dark Knight 2008), 1954 Lincoln Futura (Batman The Movie 1966), GM Batmobile (Batman 1989, Batman Returns 1992)
Of course this list is going to list one of the most amazing cars ever: The Batmobile. No matter what shape or model this car comes in, you can still feel its powerful and demanding presence, much like Batman himself. From the adorableness of the one from 1966, to the sleek and classy look of 1989, to the intense and robust look of 2005, it seems like Batman’s taste in cars, will always be on point.
1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor from Ghostbusters (1984), and Ghostbusters (1989)
Who you gonna call? Well, not necessarily the Ecto-1, but those who own it. When this car rushes through the streets of New York, you know there’s something’s strange in the neighborhood, and that The Ghostbusters are definitely on it.
1975 Camaro and 2006 Chevrolet Camaro Concept/2009 Chevrolet Camaro
Director Michael Bay has mentioned that he wanted a gentle yet imposing look for Bumblebee’s alternate mode, which the 2006 Chevrolet Camaro concept car pulled off beautifully. However, Bumblebee first appears in the movie as a 1975 Camaro, but changes into the 2006 Camaro concept because he was a little insecure about his looks.
